The first is the Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library. I was a member of the Board of Directors from 2016 –2022, and now a volunteer and supporter. Libraries are treasures and invaluable to our communities, specifically those marginalized groups that feel welcomed and included by our librarians. Please join me at the Friends’ 12th Annual Pouring Over Books. Second, the League of Women Voters of Hays County is hosting its Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser on Friday, Feb 24. The LWV Hays County is raising funds as it will resume in-person candidate forums, continue to publish the Voter Guides in print and online at VOTE411.org, and launch a scholarship program for Hays County graduating high school seniors that plan to continue higher education studies.
