SV Cultural Hub is officially a Librotraficante. That is, as an Underground Library, The Hub will have books from the Banned Book List, host book studies, and start a book lending library and exchanges. We will also host book readings by banned Chicano writers, and continue advocating for a diverse and cultural reading list with our Hub Community.
In addition, The Hub is committed to raising funds to purchase books from the Banned Book List to donate to other Underground Libraries in Greater Austin. We are also accepting donations of gently used books from the Banned Book List.
Lastly, join Teresa Friday, April 29, to welcome the Librotraficante Caravan of Banned Books arriving from San Antonio at Palm Park, Austin. See the schedule of events throughout the afternoon and evening below.
