The Altar-building Workshop will honor this Mexican tradition by sharing the meaning of the ofrendas, the offerings placed in a home altar.
Central Texas Hill Country community members are invited to place their remembrance photo on the Community Altar. Paper monarch butterfly cutouts are available for those who would like to add a loved one’s name as part of the Community Altar.
While the presentations are offered free of charge, registration is required.
