SV Cultural Hub welcomes How’z It Hawaiian Grill
The Hub Yard gets a new food truck for the new year!
Sententia Vera Cultural Hub will soon welcome How’z It Hawaiian Grill food truck to its Hub Yard. Inspired by a culinary collective in Durango, Colorado, Teresa Carbajal Ravet, owner of the SV Cultural Hub, launched The Hub Yard. The Hub Yard is the beautifully wooded backyard of SV Cultural Hub, with pad sites for up to six food trucks which will provide cultural culinary experiences to the communities of Southwest Austin, Dripping Springs, and beyond, while the SV Cultural Hub Beverage Bar serves up favorite local beers, wines, coffees, and cold sodas.
The Hub’s place, as a community event [venue] and coworking space, seems to perfectly mesh with the hopes I have for becoming a long-standing and ingrained part of not only [the] Sunset Canyon community, but Dripping Springs as a whole.
~ Chance Garner,

How'z It Owner

How’z It Hawaiian Grill is simple food full of big flavors and lots of love. Chance spends half his life in Texas and half in Hawaii, instilled with a deep love for a community that comes together over delicious food. In Texas, it’s called a BBQ and in Hawaii it’s called a luau, coming together with a simple desire to connect. In this spirit, Chance launched How’z It Hawaiian Grill. It is an expression of the connection between Texas and Hawaii, the connection between food across cultures and our local communities.

The top sellers on the How’z It menu are the Kalbi Beef and the Spicy Pork. For the chicken lover in our community How’z It has a choice of Char Siu BBQ Chicken and Chicken Katsu. Finally, a marinated Tofu Katsu is on the menu for vegetarians in our neighborhood.

The Hub Beverage Bar carries local and national beers and wines, serves up steamy cups of coffee drinks and teas, as well as sells bottled sodas and flavored waters.
