The Texas Asian Foundation – with Tokyo Electron and Japan-America Society of Greater Austin – presents a Japanese Tsunami Relief Fundraising Event for Japan’s worst earthquake in history.

Help raise funds for victims of the worst tsunami and earthquake in the history of Japan while enjoying this benefit featuring music from one of SXSW’s international top bands.

With the help of Tokyo Electron and Japan-America Society of Greater Austin, donations will go DIRECTLY to the most needed programs in the affected areas. Texas Asian Chamber of Commerce Board Chair Jim Yatsu, with guidance from TEL and JASGA, will personally take the funds to Tokyo for direct distribution during the week of March 21.

While we gather in the spirit of humanity and prayers, The Texas Asian Foundation proudly presents SXSW’s ANAYA, winner of many international top awards, known for its innovative mixing of traditional and modern music. Anaya’s greatest fame comes from “pioneering a new genre of music and sound with modern rap and the beatbox form, while preserving the traditional arts. They are a sensational SXSW top band!
