COMADRAZO Potluck Dinner & Networking
10 October, 2017 –
Las Comadres meet once a month for community building and informal professional networking. Attendance is optional but you won’t want to miss the fun, the food, the friendship! The COMADRAZOS(sm) are potluck dinners in the homes of Comadres but the growing interest in Las Comadres may soon necessitate a change of venue to public meeting spaces or community centers. We are growing. Join us.

Emerging Voices Series presents Barbara Frances
14 October, 2017 –
Sententia Vera Cultural Hub's mission is to advocate and support our community's creatives and entrepreneurs. The Emerging Voices Series presents community members that have created, written, and/or produced a diverse voice for the first time.
On Saturday come listen to Barbara Frances.
Barbara will be reading from LIKE I USED TO DANCE, a novel based on memories and front-porch tales from her childhood.
A sparkling, richly human novel taking you back to a time when Ike was president and life was slower, but people were the same as now. Written with compassion, humor and suspense, LIKE I USED TO DANCE will charm you, warm you and even squeeze a few tears, from its opening number to the last waltz.
“Teresa is an outstanding Spanish-English translator. She is adept at taking “company jargon” and translating it into culturally-accurate and lingo-centric language, easily understood by our target audiences. Teresa is skilled, knowledgeable and did a significant amount of research to give us the best translation possible. She performed her tasks on time, within our small budget
Stacy Erhlich Executive Non-Profit Professional and Consultant
"Teresa is professional, creative, and detailed oriented, she has on every occasion provided us with constructive recommendations." "She creates a perfect balance between her skill for recognizing and respecting the creative aspects of our project with her intuition for when and how to contribute."
